The University of Texas Law School Foundation (UTLSF), established in 1952, is a nonprofit supporting UT Austin’s School of Law. It manages endowments and private funds, providing critical financial resources. Over the past 15 years, it has contributed over $127 million, with the Law School’s endowment now exceeding $250 million. Governed by a Board of Trustees, UTLSF operates as a 501(c)(3) organization, ensuring donations benefit the Law School.

The ABA Legal Opportunity Scholarship Fund provides $15,000 in financial assistance to qualified law students. The application period for the 2025 scholarship cycle opens on February 15 and closes on April 15. Prospective applicants can submit their applications through the ABA LOSF application portal.
